What is the difference between an individual compartment and a private cremation?

When you choose individual cremation,  pets are placed into their own secure, partitioned compartment within the crematory chamber  along side other pets. Each pet is identifiable with their own bar code and other meticulous tracking technologies. When the cremation is complete, we ensure that you receive only the cremated remains of your pet. With a private cremation, only one pet is cremated at a time. Either way, when the cremation process is complete, we ensure that you receive only the cremated remains of your pet.

What do I do if my pet passes away at home or in the middle of the night?

Your companion will be fine. Take time to thank them for the love and gifts they brought into your life. Take time to bathe or groom them if you wish. Call loved ones. Your companion will be fine.

If you have other pets at home, it's very important to let them see and explore what is happening. Animals grieve just like we do. Let them have their final goodbyes.

To care for their body, gently place them on a towel, pee pads, blanket or bed sheet. As their organs shut down, it is normal for bodily fluids to exit their nose and mouth. It is normal for their bladder or bowels to release.

Keep them cool and away from heat vents, place ice packs over their bellies if they will be home for a prolonged amount of time. Keep them dry - avoid direct ice.
